My Journey to Independence part 3

I'm back! and I have some news~~~

I've started fundraising for my service dog! I found this website called booster, where I was able to pick and design my own t-shirts. The picture above is the design that the t-shirts will have, I decided to name my fundraising campaign like this blog series I'm doing.  It's because this whole process is a journey, and it's special to me that I'm sharing it with you guys so I thought the design should mean something. I'm grateful for whoever reads this little blog, because I don't feel alone while doing all this. I'm just very thankful ^^

The whole t-shirt is in the picture below along with a link to the site, please feel free to buy a shirt or spread the word!

a new year, a new blog layout, and a continuing journey

So like every year it's a fresh start! I decided a new look would show this, and now the blog has a new layout!

Hopefully this year I'll keep up with my blogging, I bought a new camera (so excited) so expect more pictures, and I will keep up with my journey to independence series.

here's to a new year, a new beginning, and the start of a healing journey

What are you guys hoping that the new year brings?

my journey to independence part 2

Hi guys! I know I've been absent for forever lol, but I'm back.

My condition hasn't been good lately, so it's been hard to deal with my everyday life. Anyways, back to my little story.... After I researched about Little Angels Service Dogs, I talked/befriended people who have worked there and people who have received a service dog from them. All of them were extremely nice and told me about their experience about going through the process.

I started the application process during the summer, and by November I had a phone interview.  The director of the program was extremely nice and patient.
Now I'm at the stage where I've got my contract and all I have left to do is mail it with my deposit.

After that comes the most stressful part for me,  but it's also very important. Fundraising, sure I have been a part of some during my school ears, but I've never had to organize and have people help me with fundraising....

Wish me luck!!!!!
This is my second step to independence
